Meet Bloom Acupuncture & Fertility’s founder: Dr Tamara Roe
Working as a fertility specialist is so much more than just a job for me — it’s my life’s calling.
While studying East Asian medicine and acupuncture in graduate school, I was immediately drawn to fertility and reproductive medicine. The journey into parenthood is deeply personal to me, and I am passionate about supporting individuals and couples in creating the families they dream of.
I’d always wanted to become a mother and when I gave birth to my own son at 37, it was the single most transformative experience of my life. Being a mom is what I am most grateful for in my own life and helping others have healthy babies is deeply meaningful to me. I am 100% invested in your success.

Dr Tamara Roe, our founder, has been dedicated to helping individuals conceive and grow their families since 2004. Holding a Doctorate in Acupuncture and advanced training in integrative gynecology and fertility, she is a recognized expert in integrative reproductive medicine. As a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine, an international organization pioneering best practices in acupuncture and traditional Chinese reproductive medicine, Dr Tamara collaborates with leading reproductive endocrinologists in San Diego and has supported hundreds of IVF embryo transfers.
Passionate about supporting every woman’s journey to motherhood, Dr Tamara combines acupuncture, functional medicine, herbal medicine, and evidence-based, personalized approaches to optimize fertility outcomes.

Dr Allison Young is a Board-Certified Acupuncturist with a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University. Deeply empathic and intuitive, she goes above and beyond to support her patients. She blends acupuncture, Traditional Chinese herbal medicine, and mind-body techniques to help you balance hormones, improve egg quality, and enhance overall well-being.
Dr Allison believes true healing comes from addressing the whole person, not just symptoms. Whether you're trying to conceive, regulate your cycle, or manage pain, Dr Allison draws from multiple disciplines to help you heal and flourish.
