How we can help
-
Acupuncture and holistic therapies
Stimulating specific acupressure points helps improve blood flow, reduce pain, and restore balance, supporting your body’s natural ability to heal itself. We may also incorporate infrared light therapy, cupping, electro-stim, moxibustion, and massage.
-
Chinese herbal medicine
Supplements and Chinese herbal formulas may be included in your treatment plan to support your healing. Each formula is tailored to your specific needs and enhances the effects of your acupuncture treatment.
-
Nutrition and lifestyle advice
We’ll also review your diet, sleep, exercise habits and other lifestyle factors, and may order labs and other diagnostics. You’ll receive advice on ways to avoid environmental toxins and endocrine disruptors in your home and body products.

A holistic approach, blending the best of Eastern and Western medicine
We use a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques and Western medicine to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. This integrative medicine approach treats you as a whole person — addressing your interconnected system of muscles, organs, cells, and emotions, which must all work together for true health and balance.
Kind Words
Activate your body’s in-built ability to heal and return to wellbeing
As specialists in Traditional Chinese Medicine San Diego since 2004, we are constantly inspired by the innate intelligence and healing potential of the human body.
Time and time again, we have seen patients unlock their own healing power and return to health by gently and holistically targeting the root cause of symptoms.
This includes common conditions such as:
Chronic pain: Acupuncture reduces pain by improving circulation and releasing endorphins, promoting natural pain relief.
Stress and anxiety: It calms the nervous system, helping to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
Fatigue: Acupuncture boosts energy levels by improving blood flow and balancing the body’s systems.
Sleep issues: It helps regulate sleep patterns by calming the mind and balancing hormones.
Digestive problems: Acupuncture supports healthy digestion by improving energy flow and addressing imbalances in the digestive system.
And so much more.
Our treatment goal is always to peel away external layers and get to the deeper root of any conditions you are experiencing, then guide the body back into balance to allow authentic healing.

What you can expect during a Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment
Your first treatment at our San Diego clinic runs for approximately 90 minutes and begins with a discussion about your health goals and concerns, along with key diagnostic observations.
We’ll then create your personalized wellness plan, including treatment goals, any labs to run or imaging/diagnositic recommendations (which we can order for you), custom herbal formulas if needed, a nutrition plan, lifestyle recommendations and any required referrals.
Lastly, you will lay down for a gentle and relaxing acupuncture treatment. Small, sterile needles will be placed in targeted areas across your body to optimize the flow of blood, oxygen, and nutrients. Complementary holistic health therapies such as cupping and massage may also be used.
